A playground designed to meet the needs of kids with disabilities will be dedicated Sunday afternoon in Evanston.

The space, called “Noah’s Playground for Everyone,” at Lawson Park on the lakefront a block north of Central Street is designed to let youngsters in wheelchairs join in the playground action.

There’s more about the 3 p.m. dedication ceremony here, and more about the family who started the fundraising drive to build the park after their disabled son died at age 2-1/2, in a Chicago Tribune story.
