Stereo equipment was stolen from an unlocked 1998 Honda in the 700 block of Hinman Avenue between Oct. 31 and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
A burglar damaged a window upon entering a home in the 1100 block of Hinman Avenue around 6 a.m. Saturday and took cash, credit cards, a laptop computer, and sunglasses.
An unsuccessful attempt was made to enter an apartment in the 2500 block of Eastwood Avenue around 8:30 p.m. yesterday.
Someone damaged a rear window frame and siding of a condominium in the 800 block of Brummel Street between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 3:57 p.m. Friday.
A convenience store in the 900 block of Davis Street sustained damage to its front window between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. yesterday.
Police received a report of a man with a gun in the 1600 block of Foster Street at 4:22 p.m. Friday. They checked the area but found no weapon.
Sean A. Lyle, 30, of 1519 Howard St., was arrested at 2023 Ashland Ave. at 12:20 a.m. Friday and charged with disorderly conduct. He is due in court on Nov. 28 at 9 a.m.
Latrice C. Randolph, 35, of 2001 W. Touhy Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston Police Department headquarters at 10:50 a.m. Friday and charged with violation of an order of protection.
Lyons at McDaniel
Gunshots were reported at Lyons Street and McDaniel Avenue at 6:17 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
The lock on a bicycle was damaged in an apparent theft attempt in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Friday.
Cash and credit cards were stolen at the McGaw YMCA between 4:45 p.m. and 5:32 p.m. Saturday.
An unlocked bicycle was stolen from the yard of a home in the 1100 block of Hartrey Avenue around 2:57 p.m. Saturday.
A purse and a bag left unattended in the 1300 block of Central Street were stolen between 9:30 a.m. and 7:50 p.m. Saturday.
Christopher Lemark Frazier, 37, of 1570 Oak Ave., was arrested at that address at 4:10 p.m. Saturday and charged with theft. He is due in court on Nov. 16 at 1:30 p.m.
Martin Kearney, 46, of 1303 Bonnie Glenn, Glenview, was arrested at 1701 Central St. at 7:09 p.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He is due in court on Dec. 20 at 1:30 p.m.
