Named “Best Used Book Sale” in 2009 by the Chicago Reader, the Evanston Public Library book sale kicks off at 10 a.m. this morning on the library’s third floor.
It will cost you $5 to get in until noon. Once the really avid book-buyers are through, admission is free for the rest of the event.
The sale lasts until 5 p.m. Friday and runs 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
All books will be half price on Sunday, when hours are noon until 5:30 p.m.
The sale is staffed by library volunteers, and all proceeds benefit the library. For more information, call 847-448-8600.
