A 2005 Cadillac and a package containing miscellaneous merchandise were the only items listed as stolen in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.


1800 Emerson

A 2005 Cadillac was reported stolen from the 1800 block of Emerson Avenue around 2 p.m. yesterday. It was later listed as recovered.

100 Custer

A package containing miscellaneous merchandise that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 100 block of Custer Avenue was taken at 2:36 p.m. yesterday.


555 Howard

Cesar Sarabia, 28,  of 2248 N. Mason Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 555 Howard St. at 1:36 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Jan. 25 at 9 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
