A 2022 Hyundai and a 2017 Nissan were stolen in Evanston in the morning hours of Sunday. These among stories in Monday’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT
1700 Orrington
A red 2022 Hyundai Accent was stolen from the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue between 1:30 a.m. and 3:28 a.m. Sunday.

700 Brummel
A gold 2017 Nissan Rogue was stolen from the 700 block of Brummel Street around 10:15 a.m. Sunday.

2400 Main
A combination lock was stolen off a locker at the Planet Fitness facillty in the 2400 block of Main Street between 8:30 a.m. and noon Saturday.

1500 Ridge
A $2,000 gold men’s ring was taken from a residence in the 1500 block of Ridge Avenue between July 5 and July 29.

1100 Chicago
Alcoholic products were stolen from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at 11:53 p.m. Friday.

1900 Dempster
Alcoholic products were stolen from the Valli Produce grocery store in the 1900 block of Dempster Street at about 8:20 a.m. Saturday.

600 Davis
A secured bicycle was stolen from the 600 block of Davis Street around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

ASSAULT
1600 Benson
A 56-year-old man was threatened with a knife in the Chicago Transit Authority station in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue around 9 p.m. Friday.

BATTERY
101 Ridge
Michael L. Calloway, 32, of 1624 S. Saint Louis Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 101 Ridge Ave. at 1:48 p.m. Sunday and charged with battery.

1809 Brummel
Joshua T. Worth, Jr., 64, of 1809 Brummel St., was arrested at that address at 1:33 a.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery.

BURGLARY
1600 Oakton
Someone used a pry tool to force entry to a residence in the 1600 block of Oakton Street between 5:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Saturday. Nothing was reported missing.

1000 Darrow
A burglar gained entry to an open garage in the 1000 block of Darrow Avenue at about 5:35 p.m. Friday. Nothing was reported missing.

2000 Greenwood
Someone gained entry to a secured storage area in the 2000 block of Greenwood Street between midnight Friday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday and took clothing.

2600 Stewart
A burglar gained entry to a 2014 Hyundai in the 2600 block of Stewart Avenue between 10 p.m. and 11:04 p.m. Friday, but nothing was reported missing.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
1800 Darrow
Someone inflicted scratches on a 2003 Kia in the 1800 block of Darrow Avenue between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Saturday.

100 Clyde
The windshield was broken on a 2001 Nissan in the 100 block of Clyde Avenue between 5 p.m. Thursday and 10:27 a.m. Friday.

OTHER
441 Dodge
Lanseal O. Swaby, 42, of 4901 Crain St., Skokie, was arrested at 441 Dodge Ave. at 7:53 p.m. Friday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

SHOTS HEARD
700 Dewey
Gunshots were reported in the 700 block of Dewey Avenue at 6:37 p.m. Friday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Incidents listed among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
