Battery

355 Ridge
James M. Martin, 38, 5319 W. Hirsch St. in Chicago, was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. at 3:24 p.m. Tuesday and charged with battery.

Burglary

2500 Princeton
Cash was taken from an unlocked 2016 Subaru parked in a residential driveway in the 2500 block of Princeton Avenue between 2 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Criminal damage to property

2400 Main
A screen was shattered in the parking lot in the 2400 block of Main Street between 7:50 and 8:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Theft

1300 Chicago
A cell phone and keys were taken while unsecured in a medical office in the 1300 block of Chicago Avenue between 5:40 and 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.


Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
