The overnight snow storm has led Evanston officials to put snow emergency parking regulations into effect for today and Monday.

Between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. today, parking will be prohibited on the even-numbered sides of streets posted with snow emergency signs. Violators are subject to ticketing and towing.

Between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, parking will be prohibited on the odd-numbered sides of the same streets.

The streets on which this regulation is in effect, generally side streets where parking is normally permitted on both sides, are posted with snow emergency signs.

More information about the snow emergency parking rules is available on the city website.
