  1. New restaurant to open in Pete Miller's space -- Nov. 10 -- Less than three months after Pete Miller's Restaurant closed on Sherman Avenue in downtown Evanston, the building's owners have signed a lease with a new restaurant tenant for the space.
  2. Up to 4 inches of snow expected, starting overnight -- Nov. 10 -- Evanston city officials say we could get two to four inches of snow from a storm expected to arrive late tonight and continue through late afternoon tomorrow.
  3. New breakfast spot planned on Church Street -- Nov. 27 -- The long-vacant downtown Evanston storefront at 812 Church St. in the Sherman Plaza development should soon become a new breakfast and lunch dining spot.
  4. Music and dining venue shutters -- Nov. 4 -- "Evanston Rocks" no more. The music and dining venue also known as Rock 'N Ravioli today has a sign on the door saying it's closed for renovations.
  5. Rogers Park man held on armed robbery charge -- Nov. 22 -- Evanston police say a 19-year-old Rogers Park man is being held without bond in the county jail in connection with an early morning armed robbery on Howard Street.
  6. Free Sunday parking likely to return to Evanston -- Nov. 13 -- Evanston aldermen appear ready to repeal the fees for Sunday afternoon and evening on-street parking that they imposed last year.
  7. 'Too tall' say foes of office tower -- Nov. 21 -- Three residents criticized the height of a proposed new downtown Evanston office tower during a Design and Project Review Committee meeting Wednesday afternoon.
  8. Developer's death leaves project in limbo -- Nov. 22 -- Plans for a 40-unit townhome development in Evanston appear to be in limbo following the death last week of one of the developers involved in the project.
