Ten Evanston residents have filed with the state board of elections to become delegates to this summer’s Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee.

Three — former State Sen. Daniel Biss of 3255 Central St., Daniel J. Montgomery of 904 Colfax St. and Ilya Sheyman of 2118 Maple Ave. — are backing Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.

Two — Mayor Steve Hagerty of 6 Milburn Park and Markus Pitchford of 855 Hinman Ave., Apt. 503 — are backing Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

Two — Margaret “Meg” Welch of 1325 Greenleaf St. and Michelle L. Oxman of 719 Dobson St., Apt. 203 — are backing Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

One — Jill Wine-Banks of 1725 Asbury Ave. — is backing fomer Vice President Joe Biden.

And one — John Lee Bingham of 1929 Harrison St., Apt. 3F — is backing entrepreneur Andrew Yang.

A total of 41 residents of the 9th Congressional District filed papers by Friday’s deadline to become convention delegates.
