Snow towing continues today

A car being towed as snow plows clear Brummel Street near Ridge Avenue on Saturday.

Tow trucks will be out in force in Evanston again today as city crews work to finish clearing streets from Friday's storm.

Today, since it's an odd-numbered day of the month, cars need to be removed from the odd-numbered side of the street between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The National Weather Service says we can expect some light to moderate snow to continue through noon today, accompanied by some fog. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-20s by midday, but then fall to the single-digits overnight.
