If you happen to own a 2013 Ford, it would be best if you did not park it in the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue, based upon information contained in the daily crime bulletins from Evanston police.

Twice this month, on June 1 and this week, according to EPD Cmdr. Ryan Glew, the same 2013 Ford, a taxicab, was reported to police about its tires being slashed.

Police had no explanation for why the same vehicle would be victimized in the same way just two weeks later.  At any rate, It’s one of the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin.

1000 Dodge

Someone slashed three tires on a 2013 Ford in the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. yesterday.

Battery

1701 Main

Bernardino R. Munoz, 60 of 1241 Fowler Ave., was arrested at 1701 Main St. at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday and charged with battery. He is due in court on July 19 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
