A backpack gas blower, left unattended in the yard of a home in the 1900 block of Darrow Avenue, was stolen around 11 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

601 South Boulevard

Walter Leon Carson, 26, of 2221 E. 68th St., Chicago, was arrested at 601 South Boulevard at 6:40 p.m. yesterday and charged with trespass on real property. He is due in court on Oct. 10 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

Chicago at Grove

Graffiti was discovered nn the street at Chicago Avenue and Grove Street at 7:46 a.m. today.

1454 Elmwood

Ronald E. Ruffin, 55, of 4619 Davis St., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 9:33 a.m. yesterday and charged with harassment via electronic communication. He is due in court on Sept. 26 at 9:30 a.m.

Traffic

3354 Dempster

Matthew I. Dubinsky, 40, of 527 Michigan Ave., was arrested at 3354 Dempster St. at 1:47 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Sept.29 at 9 a.m.

999 Howard

Edgar A. Gomez, 33, of 6225 N. Oakley Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 999 Howard St. at 10:24 a.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Howard at Western

Mohammad Ismail Matarieh, 39, of 6071 N. Whipple Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Howard Street and Western Avenue at 5:52 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 4 at 9 a.m.

Greenwood at Maple

Alfredo S. Ocampo, 25, of 4511 Enfield, Skokie, was arrested at Greenwood Street and Maple Avenue at 12:27 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 26 at 10:30 a.m.

1100 Emerson

Tanazia D. Shields, 21, of 1621 Simpson St., was arrested at 1100 Emerson St. at 10:22 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Oct. 17 at 9 a.m.
