A tire was found slashed on a 2014 Toyota in the 1700 block of Greenwood Street around 9:45 p.m. yesterday.
A burglar damaged the lock on a 2011 Ford to access the vehicle that was in a parking lot in the 2200 block of Oakton Street between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. yesterday. Power and hand tools were reported stolen from the vehicle.
A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked garage of a home in the 400 block of Greenleaf Street between 2 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. yesterday.
Randall T. Mercer, 38, of 728 Grey Ave., was arrested at 1801 Dempster St. at 1:43 p.m. yesterday and charged with trespassing on real property. He is due in court on Oct. 2 at 9 a.m.
Brandon D. Jones, 29, of 9640 Calumet Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1800 Ridge Ave. at 11:01 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 17 at 9 a.m.

Chelsea Robinson-Morant, 22, of 1921 Foster St., was arrested at Ridge Avenue and Greenwood Street at 6:49 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.
