Four snow blowers were taken from the garage of a home in the 2000 block of Darrow Avenue after a forced entry between noon on Monday and 4:15 p.m. yesterday.
Someone accessed a religious institution via an unlocked window between midnight on Oct. 21 and midnight on Oct. 24. Apparently nothing was taken.
Howard W. Disbrow, 55, of 1902 W. Birchwood Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 8:05 a.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Dec. 7 at 1:30 p.m.
Jamir Malik Johnson, 25, of 2151 Grove Ave., North Chicago, was arrested at 2401 Dempster St. at 7:38 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Clothing was taken from a retail establishment in the 600 block of Davis Street around 4:45 p.m. yesterday.
Luis Enrique Munoz Munoz, 19, of 2748 W. Cortez St., Chicago, was arrested at 1900 McDaniel Ave. at 8:01 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m.
