Burnt plastic that stuck to a wall caused damage to an apartment common area in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 5:40 p.m. yesterday.
1602 Darrow
Alejandra Lopez, 42, of 5145 Kilbourn St., Chicago, was arrested at 1602 Darrow Ave. at 7:52 p.m. yesterday and charged with criminal damage to property. She is due in court on April 10 at 9:30 a.m.
Battery
1567 Dodge
Tracy S. Williams, 43, of 1043 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 1567 Dodge Ave. at 9:07 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on April 12 at 1:30 p.m.
Graffiti
800 Colfax
Graffiti was discovered on railroad property in the 800 block of Colfax Street at 11:18 a.m. yesterday.
Chicago at Howard
Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk at Chicago Avenue and Howard Street at 9:01 a.m. yesterday.
Theft
1400 Chicago
An Android cell phone was stolen from an apartment in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue between 7:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. yesterday.
2200 Ridge
A bicycle was taken from an apartment common area in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue at about 11 a.m. yesterday.
100 Callan
A package containing photo equipment that was delivered to an apartment common area in the 100 block of Callan Avenue was stolen around 4:45 p.m. on March 22.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
