Evanston police are investigating thefts yesterday at a store in the 2200 block of Howard Street and at a Walgreens Pharmacy on Chicago Avenue. These are among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin.

Theft

2200 Howard

Miscellaneous merchandise was stolen from a store in the 2200 block of Howard Street around 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

600 Chicago

Hygiene products were taken from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at 5:54 p.m. yesterday.

1616 Sherman

Wieslaw P. Kaminski, 63, of 4615 N. Clifton Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1616 Sherman Ave. at 11:16 a.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on May 3 at 9 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
