Plants, furniture, cleaning supplies, and miscellaneous office equipment were taken from a hardware store in the 2200 block of Oakton Street at 2:14 p.m. yesterday.
A bicycle was stolen from an apartment storage area in the 800 block of Elmwood Avenue between March 21 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
A cell phone was stolen from a retail establishment in the 800 block of Davis Street around 7 p.m. yesterday.

A laptop computer was taken while unsecured at the main office of the Evanston Public Library around noon yesterday.
A package of shoes that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 1100 block of Church Street was stolen yesterday around 4 p.m.
All four rims and tires were removed from a 2018 Honda that was parked in the 1200 block of Hull Terrace between 9 p.m. Sunday and 9:26 a.m. yesterday.
Carol E. Grange, 36, address unknown, was arrested at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 7:35 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on June 4 at 10:30 a.m.
Judith M. Robinson, 75, of 1500 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 1:41 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on June 4 at 9 a.m.
Brett Jonathan Loyd, 30, of 44 Warren St., Hammond, Ind., was arrested at 115 Florence Ave. at 2:47 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 3 at 9 a.m.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
