Chicago woman arrested on Dodge on assault charge

A 21-year-old Chicago woman was arrested in the 2000 block of Dodge Avenue and charged with assault for attempting to hit someone with her car. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

2007 Dodge

Michelle Correa, 21, of 6110 N. Claremont Ave.,Chicago, was arrested at 2007 Dodge Ave. at 12:37 a.m. yesterday and charged with assault, following an attempt, witnesses said, at running someone down with her car. She is due in court on June 26 at 9:30 a.m.

Battery

3421 Park

Michael T. O’Malley, 28, of 3421 Park Place, was arrested at that address at 2:19 a.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on June 19 at 9 a.m.

Drugs

2500 Dempster

Keven Ky, 28, of 8250 Ridgeway Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 2500 Dempster St. at 6:02 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of cannabis.

Other

616 Hull Terrace

John A. Elseng, 63, of 616 Hull Terrace, was arrested at that address at 1:10 a.m. yesterday and charged with failure to register as a convicted sex offender.

Theft

1640 Chicago

Pamela Brown Turner, 56, of 7840 S. Ridgeland Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 8:06 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on July 1 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
