Items that included glasses, credit cards, and a cell phone were taken from an unlocked 2013 Chevrolet between 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. yesterday in the 400 block of Grove Street.
Liquid was poured on a 2010 Nissan and a door sustained scratches in the 1200 block of Hull Terrace between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 8:45 a.m. yesterday.
Shaving cream and body wash was stolen at the CVS Pharmacy in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue between 11 a.m. and 4:19 p.m. yesterday.
Church at Chicago
A bicycle locked to a bike rack at Church Street and Chicago Avenue was stolen between 3 p.m. July 10 and 9 a.m. Saturday.
A bicycle that was secured in the yard of a home in the 1100 block of Garnett Place was stolen between 8 p.m. Monday and 7 p.m. yesterday.
A bag left unattended on the sidewalk in the 800 block of Clark Street was taken around 10:11 p.m. yesterday.
Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from a retail establishment in the 1100 block of Howard Street around 11 a.m. yesterday.
Kyle A. Policape, 30, of 1627 Washington St., was arrested at 1527 Howard St. at 8:40 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 31 at 10:30 a.m.
Fernando Romero, 27, of 6951 N. Paulina St., Chicago, was arrested at 1900 Lake St. at 11:05 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
