Theft

1900 Ashland

The license plate was removed from a 2014 Nissan while parked in the 1900 block of Ashland Avenue around 5 p.m. yesterday.

800 Hinman

Someone stole a package containing a tablet computer that was delivered to an apartment common area in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue between 3:37 p.m. and 8:43 p.m. yesterday.

1640 Chicago

Dana M. Clar, 28, of 7665 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 6:24 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. A court date has been set for Aug. 12 at 9 a.m.

Burglary

700 Mulford

An open window provided access for a burglar to an apartment in the 700 block of Mulford Street around 11:33 a.m. yesterday. Nothing was reported taken.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
