Flowers were taken from pots in front of the Trattoria Demi Restaurant at 1571 Sherman Ave. between 9:30 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 a.m. yesterday.
A bicycle secured to a bike rack was stolen from the 1600 block of Benson Avenue between 12:45 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. yesterday.
A bicycle was stolen from the sidewalk in the 500 block of Church Street around 11 p.m. Sunday.
A bicycle was taken from an apartment common area in the 1900 block of Sherman Avenue between 6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. yesterday.
Robin L. Rodgers, 54, of 5930 S. Marshfield Ave., Chicago, was arrested in front of the main Evanston Public Library at 6:25 p.m. on June 24 and charged with assault after a verbal confrontation with a 56-year-old woman from Wilmette.
Keith A. Stuart, 58, of 4040 S. Prairie Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2400 Main St. yesterday at 9:10 a.m. and charged with domestic battery.
Glasses were taken from an unlocked 2015 Jeep in the 300 block of Darrow Avenue between 3:30 a.m. Sunday and 4:40 a.m. yesterday.
A bicycle was taken from the unlocked garage of a home in the 900 block of Asbury Avenue between 11 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. yesterday.
A wallet was stolen from an unlocked 2002 Lexus in the 2500 block of Prairie Avenue between 6 p.m. Sunday and 9:50 a.m. yesterday.
Graffiti was discovered on government property in the 500 block of Sheridan Road at 3:58 p.m. yesterday.
Ashland at Lyons
Gunshots were reported near Ashland Avenue and Lyons Street at about 9:50 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
M. Nicole Long, 88, of 7330 N. Ridge Blvd., Chicago, was arrested at 360 Ridge Ave. at 9:34 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Sept. 11 at 9 a.m.
Sonia Mandujano-Rico, 30, of 10120 Holly Lane, Des Plaines, was arrested at 840 Elmwood Ave. at 11:35 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Aug. 22 at 10:30 a.m.
Howard at Hoyne
Omotolani O. Osanyinlusi, 32, of 6910 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at Howard Street and Hoyne Avenue at 12:53 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 3 at 10:30 a.m.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
