Pamela J. Cote, 59, of 7654 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at 2450 Main St. at 11:41 a.m. Saturday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on Sept. 11 at 9 a.m.
Kaleb Baker Williams, 25, of 1806 W. Touhy Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 609 Oakton St. at 1:29 a.m. yesterday and charged with battery.
A burglar broke a rear window to access an apartment in the 800 block of Dobson St. from which he stole a laptop computer and cash between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. yesterday

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk near Noyes Street and Green Bay Road at 4:50 p.m. Friday.
Dennis Bryant, 60, of 1833 Lemar Ave., was arrested at 1000 Ridge Ave. at 12:47 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 10 at 1:30 p.m.
Ervin Mesaljic, 23, of 1320 Brummel St., was arrested at 1421 Howard St. at 10:45 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 11 at 10:30 a.m.
Sheena M. Ortiz, 33, of 136 Redhill, Carol Stream, was arrested at 1633 Oakton St. at 3:41 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Sept. 17 at 9 a.m.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
