License plate stolen from Honda on Oakton.

Someone removed the front license plate from a 2008 Honda while it was parked in the 1500 block of Oakton Street. This among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

1500 Oakton

The front license plate was removed from a 2008 Honda that was parked in the 1500 block of Oakton Street between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday.

130 Seward

Miscellaneous merchandise was stolen from the yard of a home in the 100 block of Seward Street between midnight and 10 a.m. Saturday.

1100 Chicago

Hygeine products were taken from the shelves of the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue  around 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

1300 Sherman

A bicycle was stolen from a bike rack in the 1300 block of Sherman Avenue  around midnight Friday.

1600 Chicago

Alcoholic products were stolen from the Whole Foods grocery store in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 5 p.m. yesterday.

Burglary

1900 Foster

Tools were stolen from a 2004 Ford in the 1900 block of Foster Street between midnight Friday and 12:41 p.m. Saturday.

100 Ridge

A  bicycle was taken from the garage of a home in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue between noon on Oct. 7 and 5 p.m. Thursday.

Criminal Trespass

3200 Grant

Levon D. Watson, 24, of 1142 Florence Ave., was arrested at 3200 Grant Street at 11:06 a.m. Saturday and charged with trespassing on real property. He is due in court on Nov. 1 at 9 a.m.

Other

1233 Fowler

Alonzo M. Garner, 47, of 1233 Fowler Ave., was arrested at that address at 11:19 p.m. Saturday and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Oct. 23 at 9 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
