A blue 2018 Volkswagen was stolen in the 1900 block of Grant Street between 8:36 p.m. yesterday and 5:55 a.m. today.
A green 2018 Audi was stolen in the 2500 block of Ridgeway Avenue sometime before 6:16 a.m. today.
Clothing items were taken from a store in the 2200 block of Howard Street around 7:30 p.m. yesterday.
A bag containing cash and other items that was left unattended in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue was reported missing at 4:38 p.m. yesterday.
Anthony A. Richardson, 42, of 901 Maple Ave., was arrested at 8:38 a.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Dec. 23 at 9 a.m.
Ricardo Torres, 48, of 339 Howard St., was arrested at 2650 Ridge Ave. at 5:15 a.m. today and charged with battery. He is due in court on Dec. 4 at 9 a.m.
Two Hoover vacuum cleaners were stolen from an unlocked 2005 Chevrolet in the 1700 block of Brown Avenue between 6 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Greenleaf at Asbury
Someone damaged the front bumper of a 2007 Honda near Greenleaf Street and Asbury Avenue between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 10:12 a.m. yesterday.
Dameon Deonte Hill, 29, of 1312 Fowler Ave., was arrested at 1200 Ridge Ave. at 6:49 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
