Theft
1000 Chicago
A 2017 Honda Accord and a white 2016 Dodge Challenger were taken from an auto dealership in the 1000 block of Chicago Avenue between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
100 Asbury
A package containing a dresser tray that was delivered to an apartment common area in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue was stolen between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday.
1200 Dodge
License plates were removed from the trunk of a car at a car wash in the 1200 block of Dodge Avenue between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday.
1100 Chicago
Hygeine products were taken from a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 10 a.m. Saturday.
1700 Sherman
Some over-the-counter medications were stolen from a pharmacy in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
900 Foster
A bicycle that was locked to a bike rack in the 900 block of Foster Street was stolen between 5 p.m. Friday and 11:20 a.m. Saturday.
Battery
1717 Greenwood
Mayra Padilla, 20, of 3019 S. Kildare Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1717 Greenwood St. at 6:18 a.m. Saturday and charged with battery. She is due in court on Dec. 11 at 9 a.m.
Burglary
1600 Maple
A burglar damaged the glass door in an attempt to enter a currency exchange in the 1600 block of Maple Avenue between 5:08 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. Saturday.
Traffic
1627 Simpson
Jorge A. Cruz, 44, of 1627 Simpson St., was arrested at that address at 6:40 p.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence.
1400 Foster
Aron William Rucker, 19, of 1823 Hovland Court, was arrested at 1400 Foster St. at 5:45 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
