Theft

1200 Lake Shore

A paddle board left unattended at the boat dock near Dempster Street was reported stolen between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Baby food was stolen from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue at 9:43 a.m. yesterday.

1700 Chicago

A laptop computer and a modem were taken from an apartment common area in the 1700 block of Chicago Avenue between 11 a.m. on Jan. 3 and 8 a.m. the following morning.

1900 Church

A computer left unattended on the sidewalk in the 1900 block of Church Street was stolen around 3 p.m. on Dec. 16.

Criminal Damage

1100 Pitner

Bullet holes were discovered in the windows of a home in the 1100 block of Pitner Avenue shortly after midnight today.

Shots Heard

1100 Fowler

Gunshots were reported in the 1100 block of Fowler Avenue at 1:26 a.m. today. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Traffic

2100 Grant

Manuel O. Luna, 26, of 9110 Bennett Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 2100 Grant St. at 8:40 a.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Feb. 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Golf at Crawford

Kyle J. Michals, 27, of 4447 N. Keystone Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Golf Road and Crawford Avenue at 8:03 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Feb. 24 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
