Arrested for making noise on Darrow

A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged with violating the noise ordinance on Darrow Avenue. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.


1622 Darrow

Jose Guadalupe Maldonado, 31, of 1622 Darrow Ave., was arrested at that address at 5:05 a.m. Monday. and charged with a violation of the city’s noise ordinance, which prohibits excessive noise between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. on weeknights.


2400 Howard

Someone took merchandise from a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street without paying for it around 12:31 a.m. today.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
