Stolen: booze, a bike and a gaming system

Liquor and a bicycle were stolen in separate incidents and shots were reported at Howard and Ridge. These are among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

100 Florence
A single family home was broken into in the 100 block of Florence Ave. between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:39 p.m. Monday.

900 Elmwood
Someone broke into an apartment in the 900 block of Elmwood Avenue and stole a gaming system and accessories between 7:50 a.m. and 5:43 p.m. Monday.

Drugs

Asbury and Wilder
Andrew O. Williams, 28, 1927 Hartrey Ave., was arrested at Asbury Avenue and Wilder Street at 3:47 p.m. Monday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is scheduled to appear in court at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 11.

Shots fired

Howard and Ridge
Shots were reported at Howard Street and Ridge Avenue at 1:56 a.m. this morning. The area was checked and nothing was found.

Theft

1600 Sherman
Someone stole liquor from the Target store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 8:57 and 9 p.m. Sunday.

1900 Sherman
Someone stole a secured bicycle from a bike rack in the 1900 block of Sherman Avenue between noon and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Traffic

1000 Ridge
Gustavo Delatorre, 36, 3044 W. 41st St. in Chicago, was arrested at 1000 Ridge Ave. at 11:25 a.m. Oct. 25 and was charged with a traffic violation. He is scheduled to appear in court at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 20.

2900 Park
Marvin P. Rhone, 29, 1800 Emerson St., was arrested at 2900 Park St. at 9:01 a.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13.


Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
