Eli Otting was 3 for 4 and Brandon Vamarasi hit a homerun with 3 RBI as the visiting Wildkits won their 3rd consecutive game in a 6-3 win over Niles North on Thursday.

The Kits overcame a 2-1 deficit with 2 runs in the 4th and 2 more in the 5th. Vamarasi’s solo home run in the sixth added an insurance run.

Mackenzie O’Neil started on the mound and went 2 2/3 innings.  Russell Snapp provided a solid 2 1/3 innings of relief to earn the win and closer James Hageman pitched the final 2 innings to earn his sixth save of the season.

Evanston is now 22-12 and plays its final regular season game on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Evanston Stadium.
