The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District (NSMAD) plans to conduct targeted adult mosquito control operations in portions of Evanston Wednesday night between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.

The spraying machines will be cruising up and down the city’s streets between Chicago Avenue and the lake, the agency announced.

If weather conditions turn adverse, the spraying will be canceled, according to the announcement from NSMAD.
