streets-alive-coe-2016

The Streets Alive festival will open up Main Street to pedestrians, bikes, skates and scooters from 1 to 5 p.m. this Sunday.

There’ll be live music, games, youga, bike decorating and food.

And the event wil also feature the Evanston Green Living Festival, with businesses and organizations exhibiting their sustainable produce as well as a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Main Street from Chicago to Florence avenues will be closed to auto traffic for the event.

The theme of this year’s celebration is “Share the Road,” promoting safe practices for drivers, bikers and pedestrians.
