An aggravated battery with a pipe and a beer bottle occurred in the 2000 block of Wesley Avenue on Friday. This among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

BATTERY

2000 Wesley

Two days before a shooting and stabbing occurred in the 2000 block of Wesley Avenue, a 54-year-old-Skokie man sustained lacerations on the head by a female, who allegedly hit him with a beer bottle and a pipe, police said.  It happened around 2:20 p.m. Friday. Police do not suspect there was a connection with the shooting and stabbing that occurred Sunday in the same block.

1927 Jackson

Shana R. Miles, 36, of 1927 Jackson Ave., was arrested at that address at 6:51 p.m. Friday and charged with domestic battery.

1454 Elmwood

Phoenix N. Phanor, 37, of 1937 Dewey Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 4:41 p.m. Thursday and charged with battery.

705 Oakton

Samuel K. Reid, 20, of 705 Oakton St., was arrested at that address at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday and charged with domestic battery.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1700 Greenwood

Someone damaged a windshield wiper on a vehicle in the 1700 block of Greenwood Street between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 9:08 a.m. Saturday.

2600 Ridge

Items in the lobby of Evanston Hospital, in the 2600 block of Ridge Avenue, were damaged around 11:34 a.m. Friday.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

240 Callan

Emonds McIntosh, 26, of 324 Callan Ave., was arrested at 240 Callan Ave. at 11:44 p.m. Thursday and charged with trespass to a vehicle.

SHOTS HEARD

South Boulevard at Sherman

Gunshots were reported near South Boulevard and Sherman Avenue at 5:02 p.m. Thursday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

THEFT

1800 Cleveland

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2005 Toyota in the 1800 block of Cleveland Street between 9 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 11 a.m. the following day.

900 Sherman

Packages were stolen from the common area of a building in the 900 block of Sherman Avenue around 6 p.m. Friday.

1400 Chicago

Packages were stolen from the common area of a building in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue between noon Thursday and 5 p.m. yesterday.

1200 Elmwood

Personal items were stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of Elmwood Avenue around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

1640 Chicago

Alcoholic products were stolen from the Whole Foods Market in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 5 p.m. Friday.

TRAFFIC

1300 Ridge

Shih-Jung Huang, 25, of 1930 Ridge Ave., was arrested at 1300 Ridge Ave. at 9:08 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation.

131 Asbury

Scotty S. Jobe-Scott, 28, of 1301 Brummel St., was arrested at 131 Asbury Ave. at 4:24 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence.

512 Florence

Karen C. Pratt, 71, of 802 Florence Ave., was arrested at 512 Florence Ave. at 11:51 p.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence.
