On May 10, rain or shine, dogs and their humans will make their way to the Ladd Arboretum for the Community Animal Rescue Effort’s (C.A.R.E.) Strut for Strays.

Hundreds of paws and feet will hit the ground walking (or running) at 9:30 a.m. for the 3-mile event in the Ladd Arboretum, 2024 McCormick Blvd. (across from the Ecology Center) between Emerson/Golf Rd. and Greenbay Rd. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m.

The event helps raise money to help C.A.R.E. find homes for hundreds of animals. Fun-loving people, with or without four-footed canine companions, are invited to participate.

After completing the course, catch the fun at the finish line including: free refreshments, doggie carnival and more! Register by mail or online. For more information is available on the organization’s website.
