Sugar was found in the gas tank of a 2010 Kia, parked in the driveway of a home in the 2400 block of Emerson Street, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Marquis R. Terrell, 50, of 736 Dobson St., was arrested at that address at 8:30 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on March 6 at 9:30 a.m.
A purse and stereo equipment were taken from an unlocked 1999 Toyota in a business parking lot in the 700 block of Church Street between 1 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Friday.
Brown at Church
A cell phone was taken from an unlocked 2000 Ford near Brown Avenue and Church Street between 6:30 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday.
Maurice Sibley, 37, of 901 Maple Ave., was arrested at 1618 Benson Ave. at 9 p.m. Friday and charged with criminal trespass of real property. He is due in court on March 19 at 9 a.m.
Roxanne K. Northam, 53, of 209 Ridge Ave., was arrested at that address at 5:38 p.m. Thursday and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Someone stole alcoholic products from a grocery store in the 2200 block of Howard Street around 1:45 p.m. yesterday.
Someone stole hygeine products from the Jewel grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 6:03 p.m. Friday.
Joey S. Hines, 31, of 600 W. Fullerton Parkway, Chicago, and Melissa Ann Mackey, 43, of 1458 Chicago Ave., were arrested at the Jewel grocery store at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 5:32 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. They are due in court on March 19 at 9 a.m.
Ricky G. Cartrell, 34, address unknown, was arrested at the Jewel grocery store at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 9:36 a.m. Friday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on March 29 at 9 a.m.
Benson at Elgin
Jeremy E. Brooks, 28, of 1623 Simpson St., was arrested at Benson Avenue and Elgin Road at 2:27 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 22 at 10:30 a.m.
Howard at Dodge
Blendia K. Hubbard, 27, of 5923 Eastlawn, Detroit, was arrested at Howard Street and Dodge Avenue at 5:11 p.m. Friday and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on April 12 at 9 a.m.
