It may still be January, but the City of Evanston is advising parents to begin thinking about summer camp for your youngsters now.

In fact, a special registration day is planned for next month at the Levy Senior Center, and students in Evanston public and private elementary schools will be given the printed guide to summer camps next week.

The Levy Center event will take place from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Feb. 10, and registrations will be processed that day on a first-come-first-served basis. No phone registrations will be taken on that date.

For an early peek at the summer camp availabilities, and to download the camp guide, you are invited to access the city’s website.
