Registration for City of Evanston summer camp opens with a new priority registration lottery process starting Feb. 5.

Evanston residents can enter the lottery from Feb. 5 through Feb. 22 by applying online. No payment is required to participate in the lottery.

During the lottery period, residents without access to a computer can enter their children into the lottery by visiting any of the city’s recreation centers or the Civic Center at 2100 Ridge Ave.

Camp options include general day camps, as well as camps specializing in ecology, sports, arts and aquatics.

Full-day and half-day options are available and camps range in length from one week to the entire summer.

More information is available on the city website’s summer camps page or by calling 311.
