Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program Job Fair planned for March 28 has been canceled. But summer jobs are still available. Evanston students can now register and select their top five jobs online.
To participate in the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program, a student must be an Evanston resident, currently enrolled in school, and between the ages of 14 and 18.
Students who are interested in job placement must register to be considered for employment by March 28. Those who have already registered for the Job Fair, do not need to complete the form again.
After students complete the registration form, they can select their top five jobs at cityofevanston.org/msyep. Selections must be made by April 1.
Potential employers may contact students by phone or email beginning April 15.
