THEFT

1800 Maple

Two cell phones, a synthesizer keyboard and other miscellaneous items were reported taken from a guest’s room at the Hilton Garden Inn from Wednesday through Friday last week. Police said the keyboard was eventually found and returned to the victim.

1900 Hartrey

Cash was stolen from a home in the 1900 block of Hartrey Avenue between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

500 Michigan

A secured mountain bike was taken from the common storage area of an apartment building in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue between midnight and 9:48 a.m. Friday.

1000 Maple

A child’s blue Trek bicycle was taken from a yard in the 1000 block of Maple Avenue and abandoned, where it was recovered and returned to the owner Saturday morning.

2400 Howard

Two shoplifting incidents involving alcoholic products were reported at the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street yesterday evening.

100 Asbury

Household products were taken from the CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 10 a.m. Friday.

BATTERY

118 Keeney

Guillermo Castellanos, 24, of 118 Keeney St., was arrested at that address at 11:49 a.m. Thursday and charged with domestic battery.

1935 Hartrey

Elise A. January, 47, of 1935 Hartrey Ave., was arrested at that address at 6:15 a.m. Friday and charged with domestic battery.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1000 Washington

A glass door was found broken at a home in the 1000 block of Washington Street at 7:45 p.m. Friday.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

847 Dodge

Anthony J. Verthein, 28, of 13811 S. Western Ave., Blue Island, was arrested at 847 Dodge Ave. at 9:03 a.m. Friday and charged with criminal trespass to property. He is due in court on June 25 at 9 a.m.

GRAFFITI

2400 Emerson

Black paint graffiti was discovered on a street sign in the 2400 block of Emerson Street at 6:55 p.m. yesterday.

OTHER

817 Davis

Ayanna H. Martinez, 33, of 3760 W. 120th St., Alsip, was arrested at 817 Davis St. at 8:20 p.m. Friday and charged with disorderly conduct and battery. She is due in court on July 2 at 9 a.m.

Church at Benson

Cortez L. Carter, 30, of 1426 E. 66th Place, Chicago, was arrested at Church Street and Benson Avenue at 9:01 a.m. Saturday and charged with public indecency.

SHOTS HEARD

1800 Lake

Gunshots were reported in the 1800 block of Lake Street at 9:42 p.m. Friday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

2300 Emerson

Gunshots were reported in the 2300 block of Emerson Street at 1:43 a.m. today. Police checked the area but found nothing.

TRAFFIC

1300 Wilder

Arturo Llorens, 50, of 1805 N. Harding Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1300 Wilder St. at 8:16 a.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 1 at 1:30 p.m.
