Tad Cook has joined Mather LifeWays as director of sales, with responsibility for sales management of The Mather, the organization’s new Continuing Care Retirement Community that opened recently in Evanston.
Tad Cook has joined Mather LifeWays as director of sales, with responsibility for sales management of The Mather, the organization’s new Continuing Care Retirement Community that opened recently in Evanston.
“Tad is an experienced real estate professional with very close ties to the Evanston community,” said Sara McVey, Vice President & Experience Director, The Mather. “His knowledge of the North Shore and housing market expertise will benefit those considering a move to The Mather.”
Cook will manage the sales team for The Mather, the latest addition to a family of senior living residences created by Mather LifeWays that strive to offer older adults the opportunity to pursue engaged and active lifestyles. The Mather offers a full continuum of care from independent living through skilled nursing care.
Most recently, Cook worked as a Realtor with Prudential Rubloff and was based in their downtown Evanston office. Previously, Cook directed the sales efforts for several manufacturers in the consumer products industry, including New Filcas of America, Jeanmarie Creations, Noma International, and Papercraft Corporation.
Cook is a graduate of Northwestern University and holds several real estate related certifications including Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified Negotiation Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist, and Quality Service Certified. He was Coldwell Banker’s “Rookie of The Year” in 2002.
A native Evanstonian, Cook has also served as a member of the City of Evanston’s Site Planning and Appearance Review Committee for the past four years.
