Warmer weather over the weekend seemed to bring out the thieves in Evanston.

After a dramatic drop in crime during and immediately after the blizzard at the start of February, today’s crime bulletin shows eight burglaries to cars, four to homes and one to a garage.

A cluster of five car burglaries happened in an area centered around the 1100 block of Dewey Avenue where thieves broke car windows and stole car stereos.
