It’s election day and polling places across Evanston will be open until 7 p.m. tonight.

If you can’t remember where you’re supposed to vote, you can find out by looking up your address on the city’s website.

Once the polls close, local Democratic activists — at least those not heading for the big Obama rally at Chicago’s Grant Park — plan to gather at the Prairie Moon restaurant at 1502 Sherman Ave. to watch the election returns.

We haven’t heard of plans for local Republicans to get together tonight, although they are planning an election post-mortem session for next Sunday.

Evanston Now will be tracking how Evanstonians voted in all the major races.
