Theft of cash in front of the Hilton Orrington

A thief removed $1,000 from the hand of a victim on the sidewalk in front of the Hilton Orrington Hotel.  This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

1700 Orrington

A 59-year-old Chicago woman told police that an acquaintance took $1,000 out of her hand on the sidewalk in front of the Hilton Orrington Hotel at about 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 12.

2500 McDaniel

A bicycle was taken from an apartment storage area in the 2500 block of McDaniel Avenue between 10 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday.

3000 River

Paris M. Christian, 27, of 4150 W. Carroll Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 3000 S. River Road at 4:40 p.m. Friday. He is due in court on Dec. 18 at 10:30 a.m.

Criminal Damage

1600 Foster

Someone kicked the door of a condominium in the 1600 block of Foster Street and caused the paint to chip at about 7:15 p.m. yesterday.

Traffic

1027 Davis

John Munir Odicho, 20, of 8342 N. Monticello, Skokie, was arrested at 1027 Davis St. at 3:01 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 31 at 9 a.m.

Asbury at Davis

Rodolfo Reyes, 22, of 6500 N. Hoyne Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Asbury Avenue and Davis Street at 9:01 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 26 at 10:30 a.m.
