The theft of a package delivered to an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Main Street and an apartment burglary in the 800 block of Dobson Street are among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.


1000 Main

A package containing miscellaneous merchandise that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 1000 block of Main Street was stolen between 12:15 p.m. Saturday and 12:23 p.m. yesterday.


800 Dobson

A burglar climbed through a rear door window to access an apartment in the 800 block of Dobson Street around 3:16 p.m. yesterday. Nothing was reported taken.


2300 Chase

Tashwan V. Owen, 31, of 2500 Central St. was arrested at 2300 W. Chase Ave., Chicago, at 1:50 p.m. Sunday and charged with aggravated battery.


909 Sherman

Phillip J. Lewis, 30, of 909 Sherman Ave., was arrested at that address at 8:05 p.m. yesterday and charged with violating an order of protection.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
