Theft of a package delivered to an apartment in the 700 block of Washington Street and graffiti at a restaurant in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue were among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

1700 Maple

Someone sprayed graffiti on a restaurant in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue between 7:30 p.m. and 11:01 p.m. yesterday.

7510 Western

Jacquese T. Sims, 22, of 7626 N. Rogers Ave., Chicago, was arrested yesterday at 7510 N. Western Ave., Chicago, at 5:27 a.m. and charged with unlawful use of a weapon. He is due in court on March 13 at 10:30 a.m.

Theft

700 Washington

A package containing hygiene products that was delivered to an apartment common area in the 700 block of Washington Street was stolen around 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

Brown at Foster

Keith A. Johnson, 35, of 2001 Foster St., was arrested at Brown Avenue and Foster Street at 11:37 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 4 at 9 a.m.

1304 Wesley

Travis J. Schaffer, 37, of 2083 Edgeview Drive, New Lenox, was arrested at 1304 Wesley Ave. at 11:48 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 21 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
