Two vehicles rented from U-Haul in the 2100 block of Dempster Street were not returned. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.


2125 Dempster

A 2019  GMC vehicle and a trailer that were rented from U-Haul on Dempster Street were recorded as thefts when they were not returned.

1700 Brown

A bicycle was stolen from the 1700 block of Brown Avenue between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. yesterday.

1100 Chicago

Alcoholic products were stolen from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 11 p.m. yesterday.


800 Dempster

A window was broken on a 2008 Toyota in an alley in the 800 block of Dempster Street around 7:30 p.m. yesterday.

1900 Green Bay

A windshield was damaged on a vehicle in the 1900 block of Green Bay Road between 11 p.m. and midnight Wednesday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of .guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
