Theft

2600 Ridge

A laptop computer and a cell phone, left unattended at Evanston Hospital, were reported stolen between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

1500 Hinman

Two packages delivered to an apartment common area in the 1500 block of Hinman Avenue were reported stolen between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 4:26 p.m. yesterday.

2200 Sherman

A silver specialized man’s bicycle was stolen at an apartment in the 2200 block of Sherman Avenue between 9:45 p.m. Thursday and 10:45 a.m. Friday.

1600 Foster

An unsecured bicycle was stolen from a park in the 1600 block of Foster Street between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Friday.

100 Sheridan

Michael J. Robertson, 32, of 15W511 Victory Parkway, Elmhurst, was arrested at 100 Sheridan Road at 4:10 p.m. Friday and charged with retail theft.

Battery

709 Elmwood

Leon G. Robinson, 33, of 7441 S. Ellis Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 709 Elmwood Ave. at 5:46 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on June 20 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

700 Judson

An unlocked 2015 Honda was burglarized in the 700 block of Judson Avenue around 11 a.m. Saturday.

1900 Ashland

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2014 Nissan in the 1900 block of Ashland Avenue between 2 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

600 Dodge

Someone damaged bushes in the yard of a home in the 600 block of Dodge Avenue between 4:20 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. yesterday.

2500 Colfax

Scratches on the front and rear door of a 2017 Subaru in the 2500 block of Colfax Street were discovered at 7:45 p.m. Friday.

1800 Brown

Someone smashed windshields of a 1998 Dodge and a 2016 Dodge in the 1800 block of Brown Avenue between 3:30 a.m. and 4:50 a.m. yesterday.

Graffiti

1500 Sherman

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenuje at 7:26 a.m. Saturday.

Other

17 Arts Circle

Jeffrey Shyaka Birori, 20, of 733 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 17 Arts Circle Drive at 7:40 p.m. Saturday and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor. He is due in court on July19 at 10:30 a.m.

1700 Arts Circle

Waller Perez, 23, of 4600 N. Clarendon Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1700 Arts Circle Drive at 10:30 p.m. Saturday and charged with an alcohol transportation violation. He is due in court on July 19 at 10:30 a.m.

Shots Heard

200 Grey

Gunshots were reported in the 200 block of Grey Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. Friday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
