THEFT

100 Keeney

A black 2019 Tesla Model 3 was stolen from the 100 block of Keeney Street between 10 a.m. Thursday and 6:23 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Hinman

An Apple MacBook Pro was taken from a room at the Graduate Evanston Hotel in the 1600 block of Hinman Avenue between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. yesterday.

BURGLARY

1900 Colfax

A purse was removed from an unlocked vehicle in the 1900 block of Colfax Street between 3:15 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. yesterday.

SHOTS HEARD

300 Sherman

Gunshots were reported in the 300 block of Sherman Avenue at 8:42 p.m. yesterday. When police investigated, witnesses told of hearing fireworks in the area.

TRAFFIC

1507 Howard

James Raynard Tolbert, 59, of 1519 Howard St., was arrested at 1507 Howard St. at 5:10 p.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Aug. 26 at 9 a.m.
