Evanston police say say holiday decorations have been falling victim to thieves in southwest Evanston.

Two white Christmas trees disappeared from a yard at 732 Florence Ave. and two reindeer vanished from a lawn at 1719 South Blvd. during the day on Monday.

Two white Christmas trees disappeared from a yard at 732 Florence Ave. and two reindeer vanished from a lawn at 1719 South Blvd. during the day on Monday.

And on Sunday evening two inflatable Santa Claus figures were attacked — at 2007 and 2109 Keeney St. — by guys who fled in a dark colored SUV — after they failed in their efforts to take St. Nick.
