Theft
2100 Maple
A laptop computer, a camera, and negotiable instruments were taken from an apartment in the 2100 block of Maple Avenue between Sept. 2 and 7 p.m. yesterday.
1100 Chicago
Alcoholic products were taken from a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around midnight last night.
1100 Florence
A cell phone left unattended at a home in the 1100 block of Florence Avenue was taken around 6 p.m. Saturday.
1700 Sherman
A purse containing cash that was left unattended at a retail establishment in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue was stolen between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. yesterday.
Battery
420 Asbury
Timothy L. Brugger, 72, of 420 Asbury Ave., was arrested at that address at 2:10 a.m. today and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Sept. 25 at 9:30 a.m.
Traffic
1909 Asbury
Dorval L. Reed, 42, of 1000 Grove St., was arrested at 1909 Asbury Ave. at 7:03 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 15 at 9 a.m.
3400 Harrison
Jesus Antonio Testa, 26, of 5316 S. Kilbourn Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 3400 Harrison St. at 5:28 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 15 at 9 a.m.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
