Burglars let themselves into two apartments in south Evanston Wednesday evening. Those among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin.

Burglary

100 Ridge

A burglar entered an apartment in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue about 7:50 p.m. Wednesday through an unlocked door and left with jewelry and cash.

800 Dobson

A burglar entered an apartment in the 800 block of Dobson Street about 6 p.m. Wednesday through an unsecured window and left with a television set and cash.

Theft

2200 Autobarn

Someone stole a license plate off a 2016 Fiat parked in the Autobarn lot in the 2200 block of Autobarn Place. The theft was discovered at 2:07 p.m. Wendesday.

1600 Sherman

Someone stole clothes and furs from a retail store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue during the noon hour Wednesday.

2400 Nathaniel

Someone made off with a package containing cellphones that had left in the yard of a single family home in the 2400 block of Nathaniel Place. The theft was discovered about 10:48 a.m. Wednesday.

100 Asbury

Someone stole cosmetics from the CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

1128 Chicago

Aaron K. Dudley, 32, of 5949 S. Loomis in Chicago, was arrested at the Jewel-Osco store at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged with retail theft. He’s due in court at 10:30 a.m. on March 31.
